Thanks for featuring my site and for the kind comments, I’m glad everybody likes it! I’m a freelance front-end web developer so the recognition of my peers is really important.

For what it’s worth: the site is built in HTML5 and uses jQuery for some of the effects you see on-screen. It is also hooked up to a weather feed so that the appearance of the site changes constantly throughout the day depending on the time of day, and the weather conditions here in Manchester. I believe my website is an internet first in that respect!
