Best College & University CSS Websites

I took some time to go through the USNews.com’s America’s Best Colleges 2007 in search of the best designed sites who are css based. I was very surprised to find so few… only 16 total out of the 124 listed on usnews.com. I am sure, however, that there may be some intriguing CSS based sites within the main College/University site, but this was not the purpose of my search. It would be interesting to see how many of the site pass accessibility guidelines too… perhaps another search to do in the future. I would venture a guess that less than 5% of those 124 sites pass accessibility guidelines. Anyhow, here’s a look (among the top 124 US Colleges and Universities) at the best CSS based designs. Let’s hope many of the others are currently in the redesign process…
